I moved to the United Kingdom when I turned 18 to study and I ended up remaining there for the following 5 years. I graduated with a first class degree in Visual Communication from Birmingham Institute of Art & Design in 2012, having also been nominated for the Trevor Beattie ‘Student of The Year’ award. After completing my studies I moved to London and began working as a studio assistant for companies such as ProLighting Ltd., SNAP studios, TeaRoom studios and others.
In August of 2014 I moved back to Romania and began working as an art director handling still image post-production work for one of Europe’s best known advertising stills producers, Carioca Studio. My clients here included Ford, Nissan, MasterCard, Dunhill, AFKLM, Philips, Piaggio and Nescafé, among others.
Since July of 2016 I have switched to handling moving image work for the advertising world in the company’s newly founded video department.
I now live in Bucharest, Romania and have been continuing to work on personal projects where I explore themes related to escapism, self-isolation and sunlight.
