Born in Bucharest, Romania.
I moved to the United Kingdom to study at age 18 and ended up remaining there for a total of five years.
I graduated with a first class degree in Visual Communication from the Birmingham Institute of Art & design in 2012, having also been nominated for the ‘Student of The Year’ award. After completing my studies, I moved to London and began working as a studio assistant for various leading studios such as ProLighting Ltd., SNAP, TeaRoom studios and others.
In August of 2014 I moved back to Romania and began working as an art director for one of Europe’s best known advertising stills producers, Carioca Studio. For two years I have handled still image post-production within the company. Afterwards I took on the challenge to help fund the company’s video department where I subsequently handled complex moving image compositing and post-production for the advertising world.
Over the course of five years I have handled work for a wide range of international clients such as Ford, Nissan, Mastercard, Dunhill, Air France KLM, Philips, Piaggio and Nescafé, among others.
In 2019 I resigned from Carioca and set out my own company and studio with which I aim to provide high quality and competitive services for the fashion and advertising industries.
Apart from focusing on commercial work, I have continued to be inspired by themes related to escapism, self-isolation and sunlight.
